Atlanta Inventor Who Converted Plastic to Fuel Sparks Panic After Claiming He’s ‘Under Attack’: ‘We’re All Witnesses’

Underdog up against Big Oil

It’s common knowledge now that we have a severe fuel problem due to our reliance on oil, which is why one man from Atlanta, Georgia, decided to do something about it. The young inventor from Georgia even managed to successfully convert plastic waste into usable fuel; of course, his achievements didn’t go unnoticed, and he now claims to be “under attack” before abruptly disappearing online.

A post shared by Julian Brown (@naturejab_)

21-year-old Julian Brown is the man in question, and his latest video on his business Instagram dates back to July 9, where he claims that he’s somehow under attack in many different ways, though he can’t reveal too much. After this, Brown went radio silent for several weeks, which is worrying, considering he had nearly always posted daily updates about his plastic-to-fuel conversion progress.

The latest message has since sparked widespread concern and panic as many assumed that someone rich or powerful might have stepped in to halt Brown’s progress on his renewable fuel experiments. Thankfully, it appears that at the moment, Juilan Brown is safe, at least according to his mother.

“I can confirm Julian is safe but in the best interest of his security I’m not able to provide any more information,” assures Nia, Julian Brown’s mother, transcript courtesy of Daily Mail

Brown’s mother, Nia, has responded to several media publications that reached out to her and her son regarding his safety. For now, it seems Brown is keeping a low profile, though he’s notably afraid for his safety since back on July 3, Brown claimed that “A SECRET Helicopter found circled me in the middle of NOWHERE… and it gets even scarier – Pray for me please.”

Julian Brown’s Progress on the Plastic Fuel

As for how far Julian Brown has made his Plastidiesel or Plastoline viable, apparently, it has already earned a certificate for pureness and cleanliness compared to standard pump diesel, at least according to tests run by independent laboratories. Brown has since been featured in Forbes for his creation, and even Reddit’s co-founder, Alexis Ohanian, donated $100,000 to help Brown with his research.

Brown was notably self-taught, though he used his knowledge from welding schools to help build his refinery for the plastic fuel. People have been sending him their plastic waste to help with his experiments. As for what motivated him to pursue this remarkable cause, Brown was upset that so much plastic was going to waste, and since most plastic is made out of oil anyway, the Atlanta inventor thought he’d just recycle it into fuel. Such a noble intent has made Brown a people’s hero, and many are cheering for his success and safety.

“If this man dies it’s because the government killed him!!! Plastic being turned into fuel can help the planet immensely and its inhabitants but the government rather watch us suffer and struggle than work with someone tht can make life easier and the planet a better place,” suggests __melrose22

“We’re all witnesses,” assures korus_25
