It is funny how some titles that were announced many years ago are finally launching. When we saw the first trailer of Hogwarts Legacy, we thought it was going to be far away, and look, it is finally here. Now, another game that had a long development cycle is about to launch. We’re talking about Atomic Heart, a game that with its trailers alone has managed to gather a huge fanbase that is excited to play this upcoming title. With the launch day upon us, the developers behind Atomic Heart have revealed its download size for PlayStation consoles. So, before the pre-load period arrives, make sure you have space to store it.
Atomic Heart on PlayStation consoles will have a download size of 48 GB
The download size will vary depending on what console you own. For PS5, it’ll be less as we all know this console has a compression system that makes games not too heavy. These are the download sizes for Atomic Heart on PlayStation consoles:
- PS4: 47.901 GB
- PS5: 41.677 GB
As you can see, the game isn’t as big as Hogwarts Legacy or Horizon Forbidden West. This is good as we already know the game won’t be as big in terms of story content but will have more things to do. Quality over quantity is what the game is aiming for.

This title is one that has many people excited and promises to be a fantastic one.
