While summer is coming to an end, the fun is just beginning! As we start to shift toward the Holiday season, there are some exciting 2021 game releases on the horizon. That being said, here are a handful of August video game releases to keep an eye on!

August 12th: Icarus

From the DayZ developer, players can explore and survive on a hostile planet in this PC release.

August 13th: Hades

After its wild success on Nintendo Switch and PC, Hades is moving on to conquer the other console gods. Hades is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4.

August 17th: Humankind

After being delayed from its original April PC release, Humankind allows you to “shape the course of history with your own character.”

August 20th: Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut features a whole new island, a new story, and other PlayStation 5 upgrades. For those who own the game on PlayStation 4, an upgrade to the original game can be bought for $19.99.

August 25th: Psychonauts 2

As far as August video game releases go, Psychonauts 2 is easily the most anticipated. Releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, the new Psychonauts tells a harrowing tale:

When Razputin Aquato, trained acrobat and powerful young psychic, finally realizes his dream of joining the Psychonauts… he finds not all is well with the once-renowned spy organization. Their leader is comatose and a mole lurks within the ranks. That’s to say nothing of the fanatical forces working to revive Maligula, a deceased psychic murderer! It’s up to Raz to train his mind and unravel a tangle of plots could very well purge the world into chaos.

August 31st: New World

In the first release from Amazon Game Studios, the upcoming MMO New World completes the list of August video game releases.
