The creator, whose real name was Alex, has died of unknown causes. Her family confirmed the heartbreaking news with an In Memoriam tribute to her shared with fans on Instagram.

In the caption, Alexandra’s family speaks as though they are surprised by her death. This makes many believe the circumstances around her death may be tragic. The family began the announcement by calling the news “devastating.”
It is with a heavy heart that we must inform you that Alex, known to many as Pretty Pastel Please, has passed away. Her passing was sudden, unexpected and devastating to all who knew her.

Last year, Alex went through a difficult divorce with her ex, who she credited with helping her build her channel. She admitted to having a “hard time,” with fans noting that it was evident in her content.
Alex’s last posts were an Instagram post announcing a Twitch stream and a YouTube video, both posted as Pretty Pastel Please in late May. According to the announcement, she died in June 2024.
