Experience
Alex has over 10 years of experience working in online media. He is The Nerd Stash’s current managing editor, a position he has held since early 2023. Previously, he was a senior editor at Gamurs Group, working at Twinfinite.net and We Got This Covered for several years. During this time, he has covered major industry events such as Gamescom, EGX, E3, and Summer Games Fest, writing content that includes features, interviews, news, and review coverage. Working in the games industry has been a lifelong ambition after studying creative writing and journalism at university. More recent years have seen him add to his skillset with respect to SEO, management, and general content strategy. Despite the chaos of a working day managing freelancers from across the globe and a talented staff team, he still has time for the occasional game of Valorant or a day on the golf course.

The Nerd Stash Editorial Policies
At The Nerd Stash, we uphold rigorous editorial standards with a commitment to quality, integrity, and transparency. As of 2024, we’ve refined these guidelines to better serve readers by prioritizing clarity and conciseness. Content is structured to be straightforward and informative, often supplemented with visuals where useful. We focus solely on creating quality content for our audience, not on trend-chasing or SEO.
Our expert writers produce precise guides, news, and features, and our team regularly updates articles to keep information current. Additionally, older articles are clearly marked if they may contain outdated information, with updates noted as needed.
