A video posted to the social media platform TikTok features a woman from California who is absolutely livid at the fact that an auto collision center allegedly stole her boyfriend’s car. The entire story details the messy incident from the side of the victim’s girlfriend.
According to the video, the collision center required the vehicle owner to sign a form authorizing them to inspect the vehicle before locking it in a yard with no way to access it. Even worse, the lot allegedly wants to charge the victim hundreds of thousands of dollars in alleged storage fees.
This collision center is known simply as Gary’s Auto Collision Center. After allegedly crashing into a mountain, the driver had his car sent to this location for repairs, though, before being quoted on the price of the repairs, he was asked to sign an authorization form.
It was after signing this form that things reportedly went south. The collision center allegedly did not answer the victim for quite some time before reportedly being told that the form he signed had actually signed his rights to the car away.
In an attempt to go the legal route and have a lawyer send a demand letter, the collision center reportedly put a lien on the vehicle, claiming that its repairs had been completed. Essentially, it seems as though they wanted to try to cover up the fact that they actually hadn’t even begun working on the vehicle, according to the victim’s girlfriend.
Now, it seems that the two of them have no idea what to do next, using this video to turn to viewers in hopes of answers.

Commenters also found the situation to be incredibly fishy, with one of the very top comments claiming to be a wronged ex-employee. They wrote, “I used to work there! I have unpaid waged since December! He always made an excuse and would pay me half.”
Another commenter confessed to looking into them when they needed repairs on their car, writing, “I’ll literally 0.4 miles from them, this is local affffff. The best possible advice came from a comment that simply said, “Call the Bureau of Automotive repair and file a complaint… they will go in and fully investigate everything.”
