As Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora pre-orders going live soon, gamers will play as Na’vi. They will commence a journey across the Western Frontier to explore the unique frontier. Players will also experience a living and reactive world colonized by unique living creatures and characters.
The game is set in a unique region of the world, the Western Frontier. The purpose will still be similar to in films, though: to resist invaders from the RDA group.
Ubisoft’s Struggles
The game was officially announced during E3 2021, with a release data set around 2022. However, Ubisoft delayed the release to around the 2023-2024 fiscal period.
Currently, there is little information about the gameplay of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. The game will be supported by the next-generation edition of Massive’s Snowdrop engine. In 2021, Ubisoft presented some tech information about the game.
Ubisoft struggled with a series of cancellations in 2022. Nevertheless, the company has new anticipated games later this year, including the release of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
The studio confirmed its attendance at E3, indicating that it has a lot to showcase at the event. E2 2023 will happen from June 13th to June 16th at the LA Convention Center.
