As Halloween approaches, it’s easy to get swept up in the excitement and endless supply of candy that comes with it. While enjoying a few treats can be part of the fun, it’s also important to be mindful of what you’re snacking on. Outside of a sugar overdose, there are always certain brands or specific food ideas that are bad for you, and thankfully, the FDA has an updated list of some brands you might want to avoid if you’re going to be eating or giving out snacks on Halloween.

This list is grabbed from the official FDA Recalls, Market Withdrawals, & Safety Alerts list of nationwide food products for October. Even pet food and candy can appear on this list, as you will see below.
