Just three months after their whirlwind engagement, Bachelor alum Madison Prewett and Grant Troutt got married in a magical wedding ceremony held at the latter’s parent’s home in Dallas, Texas. Their nuptials took place on Saturday, October 30, with 400 guests in attendance. Their guest list comprised family, friends, and co-stars like fellow Bachelor alums Victoria Fuller, Kelly Flanagan, and Hannah Ann Sluss.
Interestingly, even the tiniest details about the event, from the timing to the floral pieces, had special significance. Speaking to People, the bride opened up about these details and the reasoning behind each one. Explaining why they opted for Grant’s parent’s home, Madison admitted the location was unique and special to them. Going further, Madison Prewett revealed they picked this time of the year because she always dreamed of getting married in the Fall, and since she and Grant Troutt always wanted a short engagement, they couldn’t imagine a more perfect time.
The Inspiration Behind the Theme Of Madison Prewett’s Wedding
During the interview ahead of her big event, Madison admitted she wanted everything about her wedding to be unique to her. Yet, she tapped into fellow Bachelor star Raven Gates Gottschalk’s wedding for inspiration. She recruited Something Little Florals, the same florist from Gates’ wedding, to cater to the floral needs.
Madison Prewitt’s wedding décor turned out glamorous, with breathtaking floral patterns and candles gracing each table. Her go-to hairstylist, Chrissy Rasmussen of The Habit Salon, styled her hair while Natalie Mas did the makeup. The star revealed she opted for Natalie because the makeup artist knew how to make her feel glamorous without losing touch with herself. The Bachelor alum also put a lot of thought into her wedding cake, which easily became a show-stealer. Explaining the inspiration behind it, Madison divulged:
“I wanted our wedding cake to be the centerpiece of our reception. I chose to keep it all white with gold details. I had heard about Fancy Cakes by Lauren and was told she was the best. When Grant and I did our cake tasting, not only did they taste amazing, but she was also able to make my vision come to life.”
While the cake certainly had its perks, it couldn’t outshine the celebrants of the day. Clad in her Nardos Design wedding dress, Madison glided down the aisle to the song, When God Made You, by NewSong.
The Newlyweds Look Forward To A Lifetime Together
While becoming married after months together was a big step in their lives, Madison Prewett and Grant Troutt knew a lot more milestones lay ahead. Overall, they hoped the union would help them attain God’s purpose for their lives together. The TV personality shared:
“What we are most excited for is a lifetime together. We are most looking forward to walking out God’s purpose for our life together. We can’t wait to get plugged into a local church and host community in our new home.”
Although Madison Prewett’s creative inputs and inspiration from her wedding crew came through, the star acknowledged the contribution of friends and family to making her big day a success. According to her, nothing would have been possible without their support, and for that, the newlyweds expressed gratitude.
Madison and Grant geared off their romance early this year but managed to keep it out of the public eye for five months. The news broke in May 2022 after the couple announced their relationship in a lengthy Instagram post, along with a series of pictures. Barely two months later, they announced their engagement, shocking fans, who considered their courtship period too short. Notwithstanding, the duo has since proven their norm-defying love could surpass anything.
