For fans of Left 4 Dead, the idea of a third Left 4 Dead is but a distant dream. We may have gotten The Last Stand update recently, but not much as far as news for the game goes. Maybe one day Valve will announce the title, but for now, we’ve got something equally as fun. Back 4 Blood, a co-op zombie shooter by ex-Left 4 Dead developers, has unveiled a new trailer and gameplay segment of the game at The Game Awards. You can also sign up for the closed alpha now, which begins in seven days, here. Otherwise, check out the trailer below!
Back 4 Blood is described on the game’s official page as follows:
Back 4 Blood is a thrilling cooperative first-person shooter from the creators of the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead franchise. You are at the center of a war against the Ridden. These once-human hosts of a deadly parasite have turned into terrifying creatures bent on devouring what remains of civilization. With humanity’s extinction on the line, it’s up to you and your friends to take the fight to the enemy, eradicate the Ridden, and reclaim the world.”
