It’s now October 22, 2015, a day that may only be of note to some nerd fans out there strictly because it’s the day after Back to the Future Day. While many articles, videos, and the like have been talking for weeks about the fact that we’ve unofficially made it to the future, not many have had the chance to do what I did yesterday.
Being based out of Kingston, Ontario, there is a great chance for me to interact and speak to professors and researchers from a major Canadian university, Queen’s University. Through my other job, I was able to talk to an engineering professor with a Ph.D. and PEng about some of the tech and predictions Back to the Future II had. We jump from hoverboards to flat-screen TVs, and of course, video games!
