Chibi is one of the most popular Japanese animation styles that also happens to be available in Backpack Battles. In this inventory management auto-battler, players can change the art style of their fighters as well as their appearance, including a cutesy Chibi mode. So, here’s how you go about doing that if you’re unsure.

Even though Backpack Battles is still in Early Access, there are tons of cosmetic items that players can choose for their fighters. In the main menu of the game, you can find the Wardrobe option at the bottom of the screen. In this menu, you can spend Gold to unlock different clothes and accessories.

If you look at the top right corner of the Wardrobe menu, you will see the Chibi button. By clicking on it, the Chibi mode will be activated and all the characters in the game will be shown in that animation style.

  • To activate the mode, go to the Main Menu and select Wardrobe
  • At the top right corner, you can see the Chibi button for activation
