‘Bad Bunny Was a Bad Decision’: Georgia Woman Criticizes Singer’s Super Bowl Performance, Claims ‘None of the NFL Players Knew Anything About Him’

This wasn’t about the music

A woman in Georgia recently sparked debate on TikTok after posting a video criticizing the NFL’s decision to feature Bad Bunny during the Super Bowl halftime show, which aired on Sunday. In the one-minute clip, she bluntly declared that “Bad Bunny was a bad decision” and insisted that the performance did not sit right with her at all.

The woman argued that the Puerto Rican singer should not have been chosen for such a massive stage because, according to her, several NFL players appeared unfamiliar with his music. “The fact that none of the NFL players knew anything about him or his music absolutely proves it,” she said, referencing a video that went viral last week in which some players admitted they either did not know the artist or could not name any of his songs.

The Epstein Files Enter the Conversation

Beyond that claim, the woman did not point to a specific issue with the performance itself. Instead, she shifted her focus to ICE raids, the Grammys, and the Epstein files. She said she was disturbed that many individuals she believes are connected to the Epstein files were present at the Super Bowl and expressed frustration that public outrage appeared to fade quickly after the information became public. “Everybody just went back to their normal regular lives like nothing ever happened,” she said.

She went on to claim that events like the Super Bowl and the Grammys function as “energy harvesting rituals,” suggesting that the decision to feature Bad Bunny as the halftime show performer may have been symbolic or political rather than based on entertainment value. She also accused viewers of selectively caring about which names appeared in the Epstein documents, claiming many were more interested in seeing former President Donald Trump implicated than in seeking justice for the victims.

Despite centering her video on the idea that Bad Bunny was a “bad decision,” the woman did not clearly explain how those broader claims directly connected back to the halftime performance itself.

Public Reactions Remain Split

In the comments under her post, many netizens strongly disagreed with her take on the halftime show. Several pushed back on her dismissal of Bad Bunny’s popularity, pointing to his global success. “Girl he’s one of the biggest artists in the world,” one person wrote. Another commented, “Highest viewed halftime show ever stay mad,” while a third said, “Bad Bunny was INCREDIBLE at the Super Bowl.”

Others echoed her dissatisfaction but for different reasons. One viewer wrote, “Only 10% of America understands / speaks Spanish. 90% of us didn’t understand a word. Worst halftime I’ve ever seen.” Another added, “I 100% agree with you!!! I was bored and it was insufferable!”
