Baltimore Fan Brings Child To Tears After Throwing Drink During Heated NFL Game: ‘My Heart Is Breaking for That Sweet Boy’

Tensions were high

Sporting events can be some of the most fun places to be at, as long as the vibe is right. However, in important games, especially in NFL rivalry games, sometimes tempers can flare a little more than expected. That was exactly the case when the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers faced off. A TikTok video with around 60K views and 3K likes reveals the moment a Maryland football fan throws a drink at another spectator. The clip also shows the man’s child clearly upset, as many social media users feel bad for the little boy.

The TikTok starts off with the tensions already pretty high as the two NFL fans are already going back and forth. To top it all off, this was a huge game for both Pennsylvania and Maryland NFL fans with major playoff implications. As the video kicks off, social media users see an older gentleman sitting with his son watching some football. Although it is not known what led up to this moment, the woman in front of them is very angry. The Ravens fan is yelling in the Steelers fan’s face, and his son looks very uncomfortable. Yet, the man and woman would continue to squabble despite the child and many other fans asking them to stop.

TikTok Reacts To Heated NFL Fan Moment

It would then get to a point where the Baltimore woman would throw her drink all over the older man’s face and lap. This immediately caused the man’s son to begin crying as his time at the game had just been ruined. This did not sit well with the TikTok comment section either, as many would flock to the post, feeling sorry for the kid. “My heart is breaking for that sweet boy,” wrote one. “As a dad, it would be hard, but you have to hold your composure,” pointed out another. One other comment read, “That poor child! That just broke my heart.” Finally, one other stated, “The kid just wants to watch the game with his dad.”

It would seem pretty obvious that both sides are in the wrong here, but unfortunately, that’s not where this all comes to an end. Following the drink-throwing, the Steelers fan is very angry, and rightfully so. Yet, starting a screaming match filled with vulgar language probably wasn’t the best route to take for this, especially in front of a child. Although the stadium security would then step in to escort the woman out of the game. Despite the situation being handled, the man then attempts to rush the Baltimore woman and is held back by security as well as other fans.

The TikTok video then cuts off as security and fans are still trying to calm everyone down following the altercation. Sometimes emotions can get the better of people, and a stressful environment like an AFC North rivalry game can be a jarring experience. However, staying calm in the face of adversity is something everyone can work on. Hopefully, both the Pennsylvania and Maryland NFL fans can work on themselves and be better for next time.
