After much speculation and plenty of rumours, it looks like a remaster of the Batman Arkham games is coming to Xbox One and PS4 on June 10.

Batman Arkham
Arkham Asylum proved that the Dark Knight could have a good game.

A Gamestop employee reportedly sent images to Eurogamer confirming that a collection including Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City will be launching soon with all DLC packages included. Warner Brothers have still not officially announced the collection, but reports suggest that the titles will receive graphical upgrades.

Mysteriously absent is the prequel Batman: Arkham Origins. While it was not developed by Rocksteady –  the creators of the franchise – it still has its place in the canon. It told the story of a younger, more inexperienced Batman and the first time he encountered the Joker.

Batman Arkham
No one pushes Batman’s buttons like the Joker.

Batman: Arkham Asylum released in 2009 and melded stealth, puzzles, and free flowing action. The follow-up, Batman Arkham City came out in 2011 and took these mechanics and applied them to an open world. The latest entry in the Arkham series, Batman: Arkham Knight, released in June 2015 and was very well received critically, but the PC version suffered from a lot of technical problems.
