If you’re looking for a new fill of the Caped Crusader, now is your chance. Batman: Soul of the Dragon, DC’s 41st film in the DC Universe Movies, is now available on digital platforms. The 4k Combo Pack and & blu-ray versions are set for release on January 26, 2021.

And to celebrate the release of the movie, Warner Bros. has teased us with yet another new clip. Here, we see Lady Shiva ( Kelly Hu) and Richard Dragon (Mark Dacascos) battle an army of ninjas. Check out the clip below:

Batman: Soul of the Dragon is unique among the DC animated movies in that it is not directly based on any comic story. Rather, it tells an all-new original Elseworlds story of its own, set in the 1970s. In the film, Bruce Wayne joins forces with his mentor O-Sensei, Lady Shiva, Richard Dragon, and Ben Turner/Bronze Tiger to battle a supernatural threat. The voice cast includes David Giuntoli, James Hong, Mark Dacascos, Kelly Hu, and Michael Jai White. Notably, Kelly Hu previously portrayed her character, Lady Shiva, in the 2013 videogame Batman: Arkham Origins. Not only that, but Michael Jai White previously portrayed his character, Ben Turner, in Arrow.

Batman: Soul of the Dragon isn’t the only DC animated feature to come out this year. This year promises two more films – Justice Society: World War II and Batman: The Long Halloween. The former is scheduled for Spring 2021 while the latter is due for Fall 2021. Hopefully, Soul of the Dragon alongside The Long Halloween tides Batman fans through until The Batman‘s release in 2022.

What did you think of Batman: Soul of the Dragon and its digital release? Do you think the movie has a good story and what did you think of the voice acting? Be sure to leave your thoughts on this new animated feature in the comments below if you’ve seen it!
