William Shatner makes his appearance on the special oversized anniversary issue of Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #25. This issue tells a new story that gives readers a look at the first meeting between The Joker and Lex Luthor. These two supervillains are joining forces to cause problems for Batman and Superman. Plus, the issue also deals with the ramifications of Batman/Superman: World’s Finest Annual #1. As a result, the issue features a Doom-Mite attack that will propel the titular two heroes’ next adventure.

The celebratory issue will feature several variant covers alongside the William Shatner cameo. Shatner’s special appearance comes from artist Dan Mora. Other covers feature art from Dustin Nguyen, Dave Johnson, Joelle Jones, Alvaro Martinez Bueno, Christian Ward, and Steven Subic.

Celebrating Two Heroes For The Price Of One

The Batman/Superman: World’s Finest series brings together two of DC’s most iconic heroes. The upcoming 25th issue marks one year of stories featuring The Man of Steel and the Dark Knight. The series features art from Dan Mora with writing from Mark Waid that showcases the many adventures of the two heroes. It all kicked off with an attack on Superman from Metallo that ended up supercharging the villain. Therefore, the Man of Steel turned to Batman and the Doom Patrol to take the villain down.

From there, the two heroes have shared several adventures with cameo appearances from other DC heroes. Now, Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #25 will continue those adventures. This time, you can recruit William Shatner for the fun.

Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #25 is on sale on 3/19
