Battleborn has been under the radar and hasn’t released anything immense since E3 last year. Earlier today Gearbox Software – the original creators of Borderlands 1 & 2 – have released the story trailer for their new and upcoming First-Person-Shooter.

The short, two-minute trailer revealed the main plot line describing a handful of misfit characters who have suffered loss and despair from their home planets being destroyed. The only options these underdogs need to save future planets from destruction would be to save Solus – the last living star in the galaxy. How Solus would be able to save the destruction of other planets wasn’t presented but would probably have something to do with the main, TBA villain.
Near the end of the trailer Battleborn also announced the release of its open beta for Xbox One and PS4 on April 8th. No end date – prior to open beta – has been released. Battleborn is a First-Person-Shooter created by the same developers who brought Borderlands. The shooter follows the similar features as MOBA’s (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) using leveling up system, talent trees, various abilities, and a multitude of characters. Battleborn will have a 5 player, co-op single-player experience and a multiplayer, as well. Battleborn will be releasing on Xbox One, PS4, and Windows May 3rd, 2016.
