Battlefield 1ย is yet another titleย to get a major update for the holiday season. Yesterday, EA DICEย kicked off their big Battlefield 1ย holiday eventย with a new game mode andย plenty of shiny new features that weย can all look forward to. This holidayย event will be running until Thursday of next week, December 29th, with great modes, new customizations, and uniqueย collectibles for players to unlock every single day.
The first new feature to go live is a custom game mode calledย “Blind Delivery”. It offers a unique take on the game’s War Pigeons mode, where the minimap is disabled and the player is restricted to using only explosives and handguns.
December 22nd, leading upย to theย 29th, the โHoliday Truceโ Dog Tag will be awarded to all players (one per account.)โ The only thing players must do to access this is make sure they are logged intoย Battlefield 1, wherein EA promises โthe iconic Dog Tag will be yoursโ. On the 22nd, EA is also introducing new vehicle skins to Battlepacks, which include the “Distinguished “SchnucK” or the Legendary “Desert Gold.” The contentsย of the Battlepack trunks include different skins and weapons.
The last gift of EA’s bigย holiday update is for any player who logs into theirย Battlefield 1ย accountย between the 23rd and the end of the event. While the holiday event is still live, these players will receive a free (yes, free)ย Battlepack. It gets better.ย Anyย Premium Passย owners who login during this period will receive “two Superior Backpacks”.
