With a ton of helicopters exploding and walls falling down left and right, Battlefield 6 has been revealed, but you don’t have to wait long to be a part of this chaos. The much anticipated beta is literally around the corner, allowing players to test out and experience the new game and blow up a building or two.
When Can You Play the Battlefield 6 Beta?
Battlefield 6 beta launches over three weekends, starting on August 9, 2025. In a different move from Call of Duty, the Battlefield 6 beta allows players from all platforms to start downloading and playing the beta on the same date, with no exception. However, there’s also an early beta as well, allowing the players who watched the July 31 live event to jump into the game a few days earlier.
Battlefield 6 Beta Weekends and Early Access:
- August 7-8 – Early Access (Twitch drop or Pre-order bonus)
- August 9-10 – Week 1
- August 14-17 – Week 2
Battlefield 6 will feature eight game modes and four big maps at launch. However, there’s no confirmation on which map and mode will be available to play in the beta weekends. It’s expected that each week will bring forth an update to the playlist, delivering a new map or maybe a couple of guns to get the feel of. And yes, playing the Battlefield 6 beta is completely free, no pre-orders required.
Battlefield 6 is going big on Multiplayer, but the game also features a Campaign with a deep story. When NATO is broken and the power vacuum is filled with a bunch of mercenaries, who’s going to stop them? You’ll be playing as an elite American squad, callsign Dagger 1-3. Team members are the main characters, while the opposing group is Pax Armata, a military force composed of countries that have left NATO.
Battlefield 6 will release on October 10, 2025, on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
