If freezing while holding a cup of hot Latte IRL wasn’t enough, well, you’ll be pleased to know that Battlefield 6 allows you to freeze and earn exclusive rewards! You’ll only have time until December 22 to complete all Winter Offensive challenges and earn the exclusive battle pass rewards.
Battlefield 6 Winter Offensive Event: All Challenges and How To Complete Them
The Winter Offensive event offers a total of 12 challenges, 4 of which are exclusive to Battlefield 6, while the rest can also be done in the free-to-play RedSec. The tasks are easy in the eye, but completing them might take some time as you’ll have to spend time camping, healing players, and switching classes to get the job done.
Get 1,500 Score Points While Freezing
This is by far the easiest challenge you’ll face in Battlefield 6, as all you need to do is just walk around and normally play. Kills, assists, revives, objective captures, and overall anything you do gives you XP, all of which count.
Spend Time In Heat Zones For 300 Seconds
Is the challenge hard? No. But is it bugged? Damn yes! Heat Zones are the small fireplaces you find around the maps in both Battlefield 6 Multiplayer modes and RedSec Gauntlet, and you need to stick to them for 300 seconds. This sounds super easy to complete, but the challenge might get bugged, so you won’t earn any points by spending time near the fire. If so, just switch to another fireplace and track the challenge to see if it progresses.
Get 15 Kills While In Heat Zones
As you’re spending time near the Heat Zones to complete the previous challenge, you might as well get some kills to combine with another challenge and save some time! All you need to do is stay near the fireplaces and get some kills.
Heal Teammates Up To 500 Points In Heat Zones
Another challenge that has to do with the Heat Zones in Battlefield 6 and the RedSec Winter Offensive event requires teamplay. You’ll have to play Support for this objective, and whenever you see teammates near the fireplaces, go ahead and throw one of your Supply Bags near them. This will heal your teammates and add points toward your challenge completion.
Revive 15 Teammates While Freezing
If you stand still in the snow, your character starts shivering and sneezing; that’s when you know you’ve got to revive your teammates! It’s quite hard to stay in that state as there are many fireplaces and inside areas to keep your soldier warm and in one piece, but, for the sake of the mission, you need to head out and start shivering for the revive points to count. Once again, playing Support makes completing this task a lot easier.
Get 10 Kills While Using Assault’s Adrenaline Injection
You only have less than 5 seconds to get a kill after using the adrenaline shot with the Assault class in one of the Winter Offensive game modes in Battlefield 6 and RedSec to complete this challenge. However, since the adrenaline slot refills over time, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to finish this task.
Get 2 Multi-Kills With Explosives
The trickiest of them all is to get 2 multi-kills with explosives. The best way to complete this challenge is by grabbing an RPG and blowing up a tank or a heli. But, attaching C4 charges to a car and leaving it to hit the crowd is also a good option. This challenge is easier if you play Engineer in Conquest or Breakthrough.
Capture 5 Objectives In Domination Or Conquest While Freezing
The rest of the Winter Offensive challenges are exclusive to Battlefield 6 and not the RedSec free-to-play game modes. Now the best strategy to complete this objective is to stay in the outside areas of the map in Domination game mode. Once your poor soldier started shivering and coughing, run toward one of the capture zones.
Win 5 Ice Lock Domination Matches
As you’re capturing the zones for the previous challenge of the Winter Offensive event in Battlefield 6, you may as well up your game for winning those same Domination matches for this one!
Complete 5 Ice Lock Conquest Matches
Unlike the previous, you don’t need to bring home the W this time in Conquest mode. Since matches of Conquest take about 20 to 40 minutes, completing 5 of them is about enough.
Get 20 Objective Kills In Ice Lock Conquest or Domination
Easy to complete in both Conquest and Domination, objective kills are best to get while you’re camping inside one of the zones. In there, every kill you get counts for the challenge.
All Battlefield 6 Winter Offensive Rewards
The Winter Offensive challenges are hard, but the free/premium rewards are worth the grind. The eye-catching items you get from grinding the winter season in Battlefield 6 are a soldier skin, a weapon package, and the Ice Climbing Axe melee weapon.
