Beholder 2 the hit Totalitarian Simulator is launching; for Xbox One this week, on April 9th, for $14.99. Xbox players will be able to experience Evan Redgrave’s story of intrigue and sadness as he rises through the ranks of a totalitarian government that was involved in his father’s mysterious suicide. Here is everything to know about the coming launch of Beholder 2 on the Xbox One.

A New Dystopian Future

Beholder 2 Launches On Xbox One

Beholder 2 will follow in the footsteps of its predecessor, the critically acclaimed Beholder, by expanding and perfecting everything the first game did right and putting it into this new story of Evan Redgrave. Evan’s story starts as him being a lowly Ministry intern whose father was the former head of Department 6, who committed suicide under mysterious circumstances while working for the ministry. It will also be up to players to help Evan to uncover the truth behind what happened to his father, by ascending through the ranks to secure security clearance to get to the leaders of the regime.

Gameplay and Features

Beholder 2 offers players a whole host of features from being able to either help colleges overthrow the government, to being able to manipulate and frame, to rise in the ranks of the government. There are also various side quests for players to complete for reputation and money. These can vary from helping coworkers achieve various tasks to carrying out the will of those in charge. Players will also have to make plenty of tough choices that will have consciences in Beholder 2; that will can also eventually lead to different game endings.
