Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are a match made in Hollywood heaven. The longtime friends have been working together for decades and even won an Oscar together. However, Affleck has been seemingly going through a difficult time recently, as rumors of a divorce with his wife Jennifer Lopez have surfaced. Affleck allegedly wanted to spend some time with Damon over the summer. However, his pal brushed him off in favor of hanging with Bradley Cooper instead.
According to Life and Style, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon may have a rough patch in their friendship. Affleck might feel betrayed by Damon’s decision to vacation with Bradley Cooper instead of spending time with him this summer. However, Affleck’s recent mood may have something to do with it.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon Feuding Over Bradley Cooper?
“Ben hasn’t been a whole lot of fun to be around lately,” an informant dished. “He says he’s fine and over his breakup with JLo, but he always manages to drag the conversation back to his problems with the divorce, and Matt ends up playing therapist.”
The situation may have caused Damon not to invite Affleck on a joint family vacation with Cooper to Denmark in July. The source says it was clear that Damon wanted some “space” from his longtime pal.
“This is a big kick in the teeth for Ben because he tried to arrange a vacation with Matt and got the brush off,” the insider continued. “Matt told him he was too busy, and now he’s suddenly in Europe hanging out with Bradley Cooper, and Ben’s been totally left out. Ben would have dropped everything to join them, he could have brought the kids, and they all could have had fun together.”
Ben Affleck has mostly been seen staying in Los Angeles this summer. Meanwhile, his friends, such as Matt Damon, have been off on vacations and taking trips. All the while Jennifer Lopez headed to Italy before setting down in the Hamptons for the summer. Af for Affleck, he’s been busy moving out of the home he once shared with JLo, and buying a brand new bachelor pad. Sadly, that’s not exactly the summer he would have likely wanted.
