Planting crops strategically is always going to be your goal in any farming simulator game, as your plot of land is not infinite and plants will die during certain seasons. With that in mind, your resources and time are limited. However, you still need to make money as fast as you can in the easiest way possible. So, what are the best crops that you can plant on your Coral Island farm each season?

Spring

Sugarcane is pretty much the best bang for your buck when it comes to Spring crops. Just sell the raw crops from a harvest and you can already earn back all your spent Coins for the seeds. Thanks to being able to harvest it 24 times, you’ll be raking in profit fast even when it’s only priced at 20 Coins a piece. The crop takes five days with 1 day of regrowth.

Aside from that, you can also try planting Strawberries. This Coral Island crop can be sold as-is for a good profit. But, when you’ve unlocked the Fertilizer, Greenhouse, and Mason Jar, making Strawberry Jam is a surefire way to print some moolah. Sold for 150 Coins a piece, you can reap 300% profit by the end of the season. You need 10 days for it to be ready for harvest, and four days for regrowth. It can only be picked up to five times but they all will be worth the wait.

Summer

Under the scorching heat of Summer, the feisty Hot Pepper will be your best friend. Plant and harvest as much as you can, for the raw crop pricing is one of the best in Coral Island. But you can also prepare them in Fresh Salad using the Chef’s Knife. You should be able to rake in at least 400% profit by the end of the season. You do need an upgraded Farmhouse to access the Knife, though.

Planting Pineapples can be another good choice, even if they don’t sell as great as Hot Peppers. It takes them 9 days to grow with a 201 Coins base price.

In the Fall, Hot Pepper comes to the rescue once again. Do keep in mind that Hot Pepper seeds can only be purchased during Summer. So don’t forget to stock up on them!

On the other hand, Pumpkin can be a great alternative to Pepper. The Coral Island crop takes 13 days to grow and seven days for regrow with a 116 Coins base price. Grape is also a good choice for making money during the Fall. Get a bunch of Kegs and start making Grape Juice, which sell for 145 Coins a pop.

Winter

During the Winter, you don’t have much choice if you haven’t got a Greenhouse. Only three crops can be planted: Cotton, Snowdrop, and Tea Leaf. The best Coral Island crop out of the three is Snowdrop, which should give you five Coins profit per day. Even then, as you can see, the result will be underwhelming. Winter is definitely the period to tighten up your belt if you haven’t set up your Farm properly.

Nevertheless, you can also try foraging Rafflesia flowers and turn them into Honey. Considering you can sell them for 2,500 Coins for each Jar, it should be worth your effort.
