Whether you’re a seasoned Fortnite player or a relative newcomer, it’s no secret that earning XP and progressing through the Battle Pass can be a challenging feat. Maps in Creative mode can significantly boost your XP income, helping you unlock those Battle Pass rewards faster. While XP farming is more challenging with a daily cap, savvy players know the key is hopping between maps to maximize their XP earnings. Here are six of the best Fortnite maps to farm XP in Chapter 5, Season 2.

[Updated on March 25 – Added City Drive Map]

City Drive – Realistic (1059-2066-4879)

This map is the most popular for this season to gain XP, as it’s a favorite among many. Once you spawn in the map, grab any vehicle and go to the large display on the hills saying “FORTVILLE.” Go behind the letter L, and you will find an apple. Interact with the apple and then go to the red color counter below the hill. You need to wait ten minutes, and the ground will open. Jump into the open, and you will find XP coins you can collect while sliding on the rail. For one turn, you can collect around 20K XP.

Zombieland (9369-6922-8408)

Zombieland is one of the best solo XP maps in Creative mode. It’s a well-designed map with plenty of loot and enemies to take down. Each elimination will give you  150 to 250 XP, and you can quickly get a lot of kills just by waiting in front of left or right doors. However, explore the map and watch out for coins to maximize your XP gains.

Once you have 1,000 coins, get to the Goo Gun at the top right area of the map and activate the Blood Moon. This will instantly eliminate a large hoard of zombies and give you a big chunk of XP.

The Pit – Free For All (2590-4493-7113)

This map is a bit older and is one of the most popular pit-type multiplayer battle maps. You can get a lot of XP from eliminations and a great map to practice your aiming and building skills. Before jumping into the pit, you can select your weapon, and the bullets and materials are unlimited. Therefore, you do not have to worry about running out of ammo or materials. After some time, all builds will be destroyed. But each elimination will net you plenty of  XP.

Pandvil Box Fight 1v1 (0153-8328-7526)

Similar to Pit Free For All, this map offers unlimited ammo and materials. However, it’s a smaller map with more close-quarters combat. This map is also suitable for practicing your aiming and building skills and is very good for farming lots of XP.

However, we have noticed during gameplay that if you get killed by another player, they’ll have the upper hand for the next round, which can be a bit of a pain in the neck. Because they’re not respawning, they’ll be prepared for you in the next round while you respawn.

After passing each obstacle, this map will dole out lots of XP, and it’s also a fun map to test your jumping skills. Some obstacles are difficult to jump; remember, you will get instantly killed if you jump onto the floor.

However, playing the map for a while quickly gives you more XP, and we could quickly farm around 20k XP through this method, making it one of the best Fortnite maps to farm XP.

Zombie maps are typically more fun, even if you aim to gain more XP. After entering the building on this map, your objective is to eliminate zombies. Around four types of enemies will chase you in a giant horde, with gold zombies being the hardest to kill. However, you will collect coins by hitting these golden mobs. Once you have collected 100 coins, you can purchase advanced auto rifles.

There are some other great multiplayer maps that give a lot of XP. However, we found that sometimes there are few players on the server, especially if you’re playing at off-peak times. Even though they are great and give you a lot of fun and XP, they might not be the most efficient way to level up.

Remember that Fortnite creative mode has a soft daily XP cap, which reduces the experience gained after you’ve reached a certain amount of creative mode XP.
