Assassin’s Creed Mirage marks a return to the roots of the franchise, and judging by the early reviews it’s getting a better reception from critics and fans compared to the massive RPG-like games that preceded it. Of course, smaller experience or not, those playing on PC will want to know the best PC settings to play Mirage to its highest potential.
Best Video Settings for the PC Version of Assasin’s Creed Mirage
The best settings for getting the best visual quality and performance in Assassin’s Creed Mirage PC version will greatly depend on your hardware (you can see the minimum and optimal hardware in the lists below), but for a good performance on most mid-range machines, you can use the following settings:
- World Details: High
- Clutter Density: Medium
- Shadows: Medium
- Volumetric Clouds: Medium
- Water: Medium
- Screen Space Reflections: Off
- Environment Textures: Medium or High
- Character Textures: High
- Depth of Field: Low
- Motion Blur: On
- Adaptive Quality: Set it to 60 FPS
- Upsample Type: TAA or DLSS (if supported)
- Upsample Quality: Native
- Sharpen Strenght: 60%
These settings gave the greatest results and the best visual quality-to-performance ratio on the mid-range PCs on which we tested the game; but, if you have a high-end PC that surpasses the optimal system requirements, you may move most things to “High” or even “Ultra High”.

How to Use Photo Mode in Assassin’s Creed Mirage
Of course, if you want to get the most out of the game, such as 4K resolution and uncapped framerate, you’ll need considerably more powerful hardware than the optimal configuration recommended by Ubisoft in the list above. Regardless, we can conclude that the PC version of Assassin’s Creed Mirage is extremely well optimized and does not fall into the category of overly hardware-demanding titles so feel free to experiment on your own and go for a little bit higher settings than usual.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is releasing on October 5, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, iOS (on iPhone 15 Pro), and Microsoft Windows.
