At the beginning of the game, it may seem a bit overwhelming to choose a group to join, so you may be wondering which are the best Starfield Factions to join & why. Besides the mandatory main-story Constellation faction, Starfield allows you to explore other worlds and ways to experience the game with other factions — these interplanetary cliques with different side quests. To make your task a little easier and not get lost in so much content, in the following guide, we leave you the 3 best Factions, rated in terms of profitability and engagement.

What Are the 3 Best Starfield Factions?

3. United Colonies Starfield Factions

Although a far cry from our first place, the United Colonies is the easiest and perhaps most linear faction to join. It has earned its place in the top 3 Starfield Factions mostly because it’s easy to blend into any two-goody shoe playthrough.

If you like law and justice, you can join this faction. The most relevant advantage is obtaining UC Citizenship, thanks to which you can access technology and use more advanced weapons. But although the loot looks promising, it won’t be easy to join. You will have to complete several missions to do so.

2. Ryujin Industries Starfield Factions

We considered Ryujin Industries one of the top 3 factions in Starfield. Ryujin Industries is the city of lights and pleasure, and they barely hinder you from doing anything – can you imagine living in a mega-corporation that runs other metropolises daily? Best of all, you gain power by persuading people, not fighting all day. Consider it a good option for a bit of fun without much effort. And best of all, whatever you say in your interview, you’re guaranteed a pass.

1. Crimson Fleet Starfield Factions

Although they are considered the “bad guys” of Starfield and Crimson Fleet and probably don’t have much of a following, we have chosen them as the best faction in Starfield. Let’s look at the positive side of this unit.

Yes, it’s true; they are space pirates who break the law by looting spaceships and completely disarming them, but because of that, they can smuggle and are the faction that gets the most money, weapons, and items in the game. In addition to the piracy missions, they offer you a variety of combat missions. But, be warned, your reputation will not be one of the most admirable.

Starfield is available on Xbox Series S|X and PC.
