The burst rifles aren’t the top picks in most shooters including Call of Duty, however, some of them can stand among the broken category by one-burst killing the target. SWAT 5.56 is one of the marksman rifles in Black Ops 6 that requires true precision and a few attachments for its best loadout to start with. I’m warning you, griding with this gun is one hell of a pain. But once you unlock two needed attachments, you can get to love this rifle for its super-fast TTK.
Best SWAT 5.56 Loadout
- Fire Mod: Rapid Fire
- Barrel: CHF Barrel
- Muzzle: Compensator
- Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
- Magazine: Fast Mag I
The reason why levelling up the SWAT 5.56 is such a hassle to deal with is that this gun needs more damage to the head for one-burst killing, and its fire rate is straight-up garbage. The Rapid Fire mod and CHF Barrel are the two things you’d need to start getting some cool action going with this marksman rifle. And well, you need to tolerate losing many of your gunfights until level 42 to unlock Rapid Fire.
The CHF Barrel’s proficiency is a 12% boost up to 46 damage to the head, which is a good upgrade to grab easy kills with a 3 burst, even if you’re not landing every single shot on the enemy’s head. But more important than the CHF Barrel is the Rapid Fire mod, giving you a second chance to definitely finish off the opponent with your second burst of fire.
Now by picking the two mentioned attachments, you’ll add a ton of recoil to the SWAT 5.56, which we’ll easily handle here with a muzzle and an underbarrel. First, the Compensator muzzle is the best here for the SWAT 5.56 Black Ops 6 loadout, as it only deals with the vertical recoil better than the Ported Compensator.
For horizontal recoil crisis, the best option is the Vertical Foregrip underbarrel. The final attachment, however, is your favorite pick. Want more speed? My recommendation is the Fast Mag I, reducing your mag size by a few while giving a useful mobility boost and reload quickness. You could also go for an optic if you’re not a fan of SWAT 5.56’s iron sight, or pick the Light or Balanced Stock for further mobility increase.
Here’s the recoil pattern you’d get with this SWAT 5.56 loadout, which is best controlled if you manage to shoot the enemy in the body and not the head. Sounds strange, but the weapon itself will manage to head a sweet headshot for you, only if you keep the ADS on them for a second.
