With the meta Warzone 2 Basilisk loadout, you can kill the enemy players with only two shots! This pistol has been in the game since the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. But it was never treated as a meta weapon in the game. However, after a light balance update of the game in regards to Temp V abuse, now is the time for the Akimbo Basilisk to shine. With the following loadout for Warzone 2, you have the advantage of higher mobility, while you won’t need to aim down sights anymore.
Best Warzone 2 Basilisk Loadout: The New Two Shot Meta!
- Rear Grip: Akimbo Basilisk
- Ammunition: .500 Snakeshot
- Barrel: 10.5″ Ftac Arrow
- Laser: Basilisk Grip Laser or Revo-LSD 7mw
- Trigger Action: Bryson HTA
First, the Akimbo attachment: you need to unlock this attachment by getting hip-fire kills with this weapon. The best place to do this challenge is by either playing the Shipment 24/7 in MW2 or Plunder in Warzone 2. Once you unlock it, you can proceed to put a .500 Snakeshot on this revolver. This ammo type is like a shotgun bullet that spreads in a particular radius but offers less range.
This pistol looks a lot like the one that John Marston used to have in Red Dead Redemption. But you know what makes it look even more like a cowboy’s revolver? A 10.5 Ftac Arrow barrel. This barrel is super effective for increasing the range on your Akimbo Basilisk loadout in Warzone 2.
After that, you’ll need to improve the accuracy a little to ensure that your snake shots fully hit the enemy targets. For that, you can use the Revo-LSD 7mw for maximum hip fire accuracy. But this laser attachment is visible to the enemy operators and will expose your location. That’s why you can use the Basilisk Grip to hide your laser.

Now do you know what the problem with the revolvers is? They have a very low fire rate. You can not shoot automatically with this revolver, and your operator is unable to do rapid shots in Warzone 2. That’s why for the final attachment of this meta Basilisk loadout in Warzone 2, you’ll need to mount a Bryson HTA. This Trigger Action attachment allows you to shoot faster while still in semi-auto mode. But still, you only need to shoot both your basilisks twice to send your opponent to the lobby.
