The Ranked Play mode in Warzone is where players grind to prove their skill. Fortune’s Keep is the playground of this game mode, and it’s all about survival. Killing opponents, doing assists, and placement are the fundamentals. But it all starts from when you land and how you begin the match. We’ve got intel from Bravo-7 to The Nerd Stash, giving us clues on the best Warzone Fortune’s Keep landing spots for the Ranked Play mode.
West Town
Town is the city part of Fortune’s Keep. Buildings are attached to each other in this area, providing the opportunity for rooftop fights and fancy shotgun plays. Things can get chaotic up top, which is why we don’t want to land right in these buildings — something that most players do in ranks below Platinum I. Instead, head to the far west side of the map and look for a building that has a helipad. That’s where you can start finding good loot and then fighting with the Town-landing targets.
South Islands
This isn’t a strategic location to land in the middle of a match, but it’s suitable for starting one. Not many people land on this spot, leaving its loot for you to gather. Here, you can gain enough cash to buy your loadout weapons and then head into the caves underneath Overlook and west Lighthouse. If you’re confident in your team and early weapons, you can even rush to Overlook or set an ambush for players once they try buying stuff from the Buy Station. You can also proceed to Ground Zero and the broken part of the map, staying underground as much as possible for better placement and a higher chance of survival.
Pier
Players land here often, but they typically don’t go for the deck on its east. This is a great strategy for getting early kills or even a team wipe if you cooperate with your mates. There’s enough loot for all three players of your squad on and under the deck. Once armed, rush to the Buy Station site and kill whoever is daring to land on Pier. Overall, Pier is one of the best Fortune’s Keep landing spots in Warzone Ranked Play.
West Keep
Keep is the best landing spot on Fortune’s Keep, only if you wish to get negative SR points. So many players land in this area, and most do this to get more kills early in the game. A smart strategy would be to land near Keep on the north side of Terraces and hold your ground once enemies attack you. Bring Proximity Mines and Claymores to build your defenses in this area, and if the final circles are in your favor, you can earn your spot in the top three of the match.
Underground Entrance
If none of these landing spots are available, try reaching for the best Fortune’s Keep underground entrance. There’s a house north of the Lighthouse that’ll lead to a subsurface location below the buildings on top of it. Loot, gear up, and pick your next team strategy to attack the Lighthouse fellas or Ground Zero campers. Or, as Captain Price once advised: “Let them pass..”
