Outside of the fantastic spells, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers also has a plethora of weapons for players to choose from. However, not all of them are great, especially if you are looking to beat some of the late-game bosses. Furthermore, not all weapon classes are that good, with some having clear advantages over others. For that reason, I have here the best five weapons in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers that you should consider adding to your build.
5. Thunder’s Call

While it isn’t one I’d use for my build, it is definitely worth it for those who like Dual Blades. Thunder’s Call, which you’ll obtain after beating the South General, Liu Wenxiu, comes with an excellent skill. By pressing L1/LB, you can imbue your blades with Lightning to cause fast damage. The reason why that is such a great skill is that it is great against human enemies, especially those wearing metal armor. Furthermore, its cast time is quite fast, making it excellent for getting a few hits in during an enemy’s combo and even building up some Lightning status effect.
4. Gunpowder Spear

If you wanted to turn Wuchang: Fallen Feathers into a shooter, this might be the best weapon to do so. The Gunpowder Spear, which you can get at the Rebel Camp, has an innate skill that allows you to spend Skyborn Might to turn it into a machine gun-like weapon. It will fire bullets at high speed, making it great for keeping enemies at bay and even staggering a few annoying ones. However, you’ll need a lot of Skyborn Might to keep the bullets coming.
3. Astral Blade

The Astral Blade is relatively easy to get, as you only need to beat Blightweaver, which is the third boss in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and the best weapon for spellcasters. What this weapon lacks in raw damage, it makes up for with a boost in Magic, as it has Level V scaling on it. Furthermore, its innate skill increases your spell damage for a bit, which is great if you want to spend all your Skyborn Might on powerful incantations.
2. Plumed Grace

This might be a bit of a spoiler, but the only way to get Plumed Grace is by obtaining the “Bound by Fate’s Threads” ending. I won’t go into detail about how to get it, but you basically have to follow the main route and accept everyone’s requests, especially those of the Taoist at the temple. In any case, this weapon is a literal double-edged sword, as it needs your HP to cast the skill. However, the ability is great as it does a lot of Poise Break damage, which can be excellent for any enemy in the game.
1. Lashing Whip

Last but not least, we have the Lashing Whip. I already gushed about it during my Sword & Magic guide, and with good reason. It has a low-cost skill, which you can chain to a two-hit combo, and it can also become a whip of sorts when attacking. With extended reach and excellent Strength and Agility scaling, this is the absolute best weapon in the game, and one that fits every build. It may not be the flashiest, but you’ll be thankful for how useful it is. Also, the great thing is that you can obtain it inside the underground area below Shu Sanctum, which is during the early portion of the game.
