The newest BitLife challenge, the Under the Sea Challenge, has arrived! Based on the story of The Little Mermaid, the challenge asks you to become a marine biologist who marries royalty! This guide will teach you how to become a Marine Biologist in BitLife.

How to Become a Marine Biologist in BitLife

BitLife Marine Biologist

Upon starting a new character, age up until you graduate from high school. Maintain high smarts so that you can successful enrol into university and, as a bonus, get a scholarship that pays for your tuition. While this isn’t a problem if you start in a country with free post-secondary tuition, student debt becomes a major issue in others. Upon entering university, choose Biology as your major. If it doesn’t appear right away, age up or restart your game until it appears. Enrol into the program and finish the degree to move to the second step.

After graduating from university with your Biology degree, go back to the occupation tab and go to Graduate School. You’re required to have a Graduate school degree to become a Marine Biologist. Enter Graduate School and age up until you are finished. After completing your Graduate school education, go back to the occupation tab and select full-time job listings. Check the listings for a Marine Biologist position. If it does not appear, age up and recheck the listings every year until it shows up. Apply for the interview and pass to become a Marine Biologist. Alternatively, you can apply and become a Jr. Marine Biologist instead. If you do this, work hard every year until you’re promoted to a Marine Biologist.

Once you become a Marine Biologist, you will successfully finish one of the tasks for the Under the Sea Challenge in BitLife. For more information about a previous BitLife challenge, visit our coverage here.

BitLife is available on Android and iOS.
