Becoming a Monk in BitLife is surprisingly challenging, depending on your lifestyle. If your character parties frequently, is a criminal or commits sexual acts with others, they won’t be able to become a monk. Whether you’re trying to complete a challenge, knock out a few achievements or just want to try something new, knowing exactly how to pursue this career path will help you get there. This guide will teach you how to become a monk in BitLife.

How to Become a Monk in BitLife

BitLife Monk Job

To become a monk in BitLife, create a male character and age them until they turn 18. If you create a female character, you will only find options to become a nun instead of a monk. Go to the occupation tab and select the full-time job listings. Since the monk position is very low-paying to start, you’ll likely find it at the very bottom of the list. If you can’t find it, age up and recheck the listings, or restart your BitLife app.

You are also not required to go to university or college to become a monk. You also do not need any prior work experience. However, to help narrow down your options, you can pursue Religious Studies at University. However, going to post-secondary school is not required, and you can skip it entirely if you want to save money.

One requirement for becoming a monk is that your character remains chaste. If your character sleeps around before becoming a monk, there’s a chance that your employer will deny your application. Furthermore, you may lose your job if you successfully become a monk but engage in sexual relations afterwards. Avoiding this is your safest option.

Lastly, like other jobs, you will not get the job if you have a criminal record. Staying clean throughout your life and ensuring that you do not commit crimes or take drugs will significantly increase your chances of becoming a monk.
