The newest BitLife challenge, the Lex Luthor Challenge, has arrived! Inspired by the DC Comics supervillain of the same name, this BitLife challenge tasks you to become an intelligent, rich CEO who escapes from prison. Furthermore, you must make Clark Kent your enemy! By the end of this guide, you will learn how to complete the Lex Luthor Challenge in BitLife.
How to Complete the Lex Luthor Challenge in BitLife
The Lex Luthor challenge has five tasks you will need to complete:
- Have an enemy named Clark Kent
- Become a CEO
- Have 100% Smarts
- Escape from prison
- Build a net worth of $10m+
Have an Enemy Named Clark Kent
There are two ways you can encounter Clark Kent in BitLife. The first is by randomly finding a character in the game named Clark Kent. While it is rare to find someone with this exact name, you can try to take your chances. The second method is by creating a custom character and adding Clark Kent. To do this, navigate to the main menu and scroll down until you find “Custom People”. Select this tab, then add a custom person named Clark Kent. As you age up, there is a chance that your custom person will randomly appear in the game. However, the character may appear as a brother, boyfriend, teacher, classmate, or a random person.
Once you add Clark Kent as a custom character, you will want to find the character and befriend him. Once you befriend him, navigate to the character in your Relationships tab and select him. Tap on his name and press “Change our status”. In the drop-down menu, you can either become best friends or enemies. Choose “enemies” to make Clark Kent your enemy.
If you have God Mode, you can choose any of your character’s friends and rename them to Clark Kent. This is by far the simplest method out of the ones mentioned, but it requires you to have a paid feature of the game. If you already have the feature, it will be a useful shortcut to finishing this task.
To become a CEO, your character must graduate from business school and pursue a corporate job. When your character is old enough to go to university, pursue a university education and select a business major like marketing, finance or economics. Upon graduating from university, apply to business school and complete the program to become eligible for corporate job positions. There are numerous job positions you must climb up before reaching CEO. These include the following jobs:
- Any “Corporate” jobs such as Jr. Business, Operations or Financial Analyst
- Sr. Business, Operations or Financial Analyst
- Assistant Vice President – Requires 15 years of Corporate work experience
- Vice President
- Executive Vice President
- Managing Director
As you work at a company, you will naturally receive promotions if you have high performance. However, you can gain quicker promotions by applying for positions in the full-time job listings tab. While you are not guaranteed to get accepted into the new positions, you may speed up the process if the new companies accept your interview.
Having 100% smarts is one of the easier tasks of this challenge. Some ways to increase your smarts are going to the public library and reading books. Reading books will be much easier if your character is a child since most books are only 30-35 pages long. As an adult, you will mainly find several hundred pages long novels. If you raise your smarts as a child, maintaining the stat as an adult will be much easier.
To escape prison, your character must commit a crime severe enough to warrant being sent to jail. Once your character is in jail, navigate to the prison page and select Escape. You will be prompted with a minigame similar to the house burglary game when you try to escape. Your character will appear as a small icon on a grid, and you must navigate through a maze and reach the exit without getting caught by the guard. You will want to try to block the guard using the walls on the grid. As your character moves, the guard will move towards you two spaces at a time, so they can easily catch up to you. However, getting caught on a wall or an enclosed space can stop them for some time, allowing you to move several spaces without any trouble.
There are numerous ways to become rich in BitLife. Becoming famous is one of the more straightforward methods since you do not require any university education and can begin as soon as you turn 18. However, depending on what career you pursue, you will need to have high looks, music talent or high athleticism. For example, becoming a famous model requires having high looks to be successful. Similarly, becoming a famous musician or singer requires you to master vocals or an instrument. If you do not wish to have one of these jobs, you can attempt to gamble for the money or try your luck at receiving a hefty inheritance from your parents.
