Squid Game Season 2 is golden, and Activision wants a piece of that by making a Call of Duty crossover with the Netflix series in Warzone and Black Ops 6. This comes with a few game modes that have Young-Hee playing “Red Light, Green Light” with the players, along with a premium Event Pass that gives us the Front Man, including a few other rewards for 1100 CP. However, this Black Ops 6 Squid Game operator has no original voice lines in the game.
Discovered by Charlie Intel, the Frontman Squid Game operator, which is labeled as a brand new character and not just a skin in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, is just a copy of The Replacer. The video below shows a direct comparison of The Replacer and Front Man operators’ voice lines, and it’s simply embarrassing.
Now, while some people call this “peak laziness,” it would be much worse if the Front Man were actually voiced by AI.After the Black Ops 6 Zombies voice actors controversies and the AI-generated content discovered by the fans, this could very well be the nail in the coffin. However, Call of Duty is facing bigger issues than this.
Some users in the comment section of the post above are complaining about the main threats that are actually killing off Call of Duty and cutting short its playerbase. Things like the server issues, hackers, and SBMM. Now I know that there’s always something negative about Call of Duty on the internet, and not everything is always down the button, but the current situation of the game is so unpleasant. All this starts with the fact that the game is fun, but it’s like every day there are fewer ways to enjoy the content, even if Black Ops 6 has an amazing Campaign and a huge return with its Zombies mode.
