The Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning map is where it all comes to an end, a conclusion that sets the story for the next chapter in Black Ops 7, and trust me, if you’re an OG fan, you don’t want to miss it. The map has two endings based on the side you choose, and here I’ll show you how to clean-cut your way through the Reckoning main easter egg quest step by step in Black Ops 6 Zombies. Let’s dive in.
Step 1 – Get The Bucket
This is STEP ONE! “Secure the keys!” Victor Reznov would be proud if he knew you’re still playing Black Ops games. Anyway, right where you spawn in the map, look for a bucket in the exact section you’re in. Melee the bucket toward the center of the room, and then continue the next steps. We’ll come back to this one later in the final steps of the Reckoning main easter egg.
Step 2 – Get The Syringe and Obtain The Blood Sample
From the reception room, you need to make your way up from the right side elevator. That’s the Quantum Research room you’re looking for, and there’s a syringe inside this device you see in the image above.
Simply press the interact button, and it should pop open. Press again, and the syringe will be added to your inventory. Now, all you need to do is follow the steps until you reach the Pack-A-Punch room. It’s guided by the game here, so you’re in good hands.
Note: Don’t Forget The Klaus Arms!
It’s around rounds 5 or 6 that a flock of flying Klaus robots will attack you. Shoot their arm so it drops. You can pick one Klaus arm on each special round, and you need 2 of these items. So take the first in round 6, and the other in the next special round on 12 or maybe 11.
Step 3 – Kill the Fowler Mangler
Now that you’re in the Pack-A-Punch room, all you need to do is jump into the laser from a high platform and then make your way toward the floating body. Make sure you push the body down. This is Dr. Fowler, and you need to press the interact button on him to take his blood sample.
Now get back to where you got the Syringe – it’s the Deadshot Daiquiri room – and insert the item back where you took it. This should awaken a Mangler who’s mad at Richtofen, and you just have to kill him. This Mangler is on heavy, and I mean heavy steroids, so make sure you fight him with a Pack-A-Punched gun.
Step 4 – Secret Portal And SAM Files Puzzle Guide
When you kill the Mangler, he drops a special Mutant Injection killstreak. Do not use it! Just take it to the Forsaken room – where Stamin-Up is – and go to this locked door you see in the image above. Interact with the scanner on its left, and then use the special Mutant Injection you’ve got.
This should open the door, and you can go inside. Right when you enter, there’s a computer to your left that you can interact with. It needs a 4-digit code. There are 4 files that you can find in the Director’s Office, the Executive Suite, and the very room you’re in. The images below are the possible spawn locations for these.
When you interact with these files, a tab opens, describing an item that’s been fetched from the Dark Aether. This is a puzzle, and to solve it, you need to put the 4 files in order of arrival. The one that arrived earlier is the first one, and so on. Here’s an example.
I got:
- 5 – 10
- 3 – 8
- 1 – 7
- 6 – 6
The first number is the number of the file on the top left, and the second one is the month of arrival that’s mentioned in the files. So in my game, the code is 6135. I’ve got the first item on 6, 1985, and the last on 10, 1985.
Step 5 – Get The Keycard and DNA Vile
Right in the Deadshot Daiquiri room, you’ll find a special zombie that usually arrives on round 8 onwards. He’s just like a normal zombie, but with a different name. Kill him, and grab his keycard. This card will open a fridge that’s in front of Mary and Samuel’s tube in the image above. Open it, and pick the viles inside.
Step 6 – Get The Aether Heart With Melee Macchiato
No idea whose heart is that, but if you go to the Aether-themed room with Melee Macchiato in it, you’ll find this machine. Punch it with the Melee Macchiato perk, and it’ll open. There’s a heart inside that you can grab, but be careful. You need to deliver this heart to the secret room you opened with Fowler’s tissue.
This is where you need to plant this heart in, and there’s a short timer for putting it inside. You need to fast, and you should take the fastest route to the building. So, the best you can do from there is to jump across with the anti-grav portal, use the elevator, and then go to the secret room.
Step 7 – Time For Gorgofex
You think that for the ultimate Black Ops 6 Zombies map that has the hardest boss fight, they add the best wonder weapon, right? No. Gorgofex is by far the worst gun I’ve ever seen in a Zombies map, and it’s not even worth the upgrade. But for the sake of the Reckoning map’s easter egg quest, we need someone on your team to build and pick this weapon. Here are the steps:
- Open the secret door with the element chart code
- Get the Gorgafex mag
- Drain the Aether plants
- Kill UBER Forsaken
Going through the steps one at a time, you first need to go to the Deadshot Daiquiri room and look at the glitching monitor on its left side. It’ll pop a name if you stare at it. Note the first letter, and go find another one of these monitors that’s behind Mary and Samuel’s tube. Note the first letter again, and then take your time looking at the table of elements in the same room.
The two letters you’ve found can be, let’s say, PT or TP. Look at the table, and you’ll find an element with these letters. Note the element’s number, then head upstairs to the room right above the table and interact with the keypad beside the door. Enter a zero and then the element number you just found.
The door is now open, and you can go ahead and find this machine, as you see in the image above. Here, you need to kill zombies with non-critical hits that turn them into vermin. Bring the vermin to the machine, weaken them, and let the device suck them into the cyst. Do this with four vermins and then four zombies, and you’re good to go.
Pick the Cyst item from the device, and then jump down to the Melee Macchiato room. Here you’ll find three of these trees, as you see in the image above. Once you find them, your character will draw the Cyst with their left hand, and it starts sucking the tree’s essence. Do this with three trees, and the Cyst is fully charged.
Now here comes the best part: you get to kill Forsaken, again! In the Forsaken room, there are four similar-looking computers that you can interact with. Start with this one near the ammo cache, and head left to find the others near the Stamin-Up and to the left side of the Forsaken chamber. There’s a set timer for this challenge, and if you fail, you’ll have to do it again.
Once you’ve got all the computers, a UBER Klaus will spawn. Shoot his shoulders, but do not kill him. Step on the platform that’s right in front of the Foresaken’s chamber, and wait for the UBER Klaus to stand on it. This will transform the UBER to Black Ops Cold War‘s boss fight, which you then have to kill and obtain the Gorgofex wonder weapon.
Step 8 – Build And Escort Klaus
You must’ve gathered two Klaus arms from the special rounds by shooting the flying robots. All you need now is 2 legs to build a friendly Klaus that helps you in the Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning map’s main easter egg. First, head down to the Android Assembly.
Here you can search the room to find 2 Kalus legs. The images above show the possible spawn locations for this item. Once you have them, head down to the section below to find a Klaus body.
Interact with it, and the body parts will be planted for the robot. All we need now is an UBER Klaus to shoot his energy mine at the Klaus on the wall. This part is a little bit tricky, as you’ll have to direct UBER Klaus’ shots at the robot by standing next to it. Best of luck if you’re playing solo.
With the friendly Klaus alive, you need to pass one round so that he starts flying. Follow him to the Forsaken room, and pass a S.A.M Trial. This one’s easy, just stay down there and kill a bunch of zombies inside the area. You don’t even need to reach the highest score.
After that, Klaus will go to the secret room, start interacting with a computer, and since you’re ahead of the game by following this guide’s steps, all you need is to open that one blocked portal in the room.
Step 9 – Kill Aether Vermins and Open The Portal
Now that you’ve got the wonder weapon, you’ve got two things to do:
1. Head to the Pack-A-Punch room and charge the Gorgofex.
You need to interact with the red button you see in the image above to initiate a lockdown sequence, and then kill 5 blue vermins that spawn in.
Once you’re done, you can charge your Gorgofex right beside the button, and then move on to the secret room – the Forsaken room’s secret portal upstairs. Head inside, and shoot the blocked portal in the room to open it. Now’s the time to make this portal active.
2. Charge up the portal.
For this second step, head down to the Melee Macchiato room and shoot the exact spot shown in the image above. Remember you have to shoot here with Gorgofex’s charge shot, which is by holding the gun’s fire button.
A head will drop down, which you can pick and then wash. Yes, the head needs water and a quick bath. Head down to the spawn room where you punched a bucket at the first step. Fill the bucket with water, and then interact with it to drop the head inside.
Now this bucket becomes a soul-box. Kill zombies near the head, and it’ll be charged up. After it’s done sucking souls, a player must take one for the team and pick the stinky head. You can not run, your character will feel a bit dizzy, and a shadow will haunt and damage you on the way!
You need to take this head up to the Forsaken’s secret room, and then interact with the exact system highlighted in the image above. This will open the portal, and you’ll reach the final steps of your easter egg journey here at the Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning map. And no, that wonder weapon needs no upgrade; it’s so weak anyway.
Step 10 – The Pokรฉmon Section
Several Project Janus containers look like the one in the image above on the map. They’re scattered in different sections of the map, and you can interact with them to obtain a Kazimir Grenade. Now, your objective is to spot four purple objects and catch them with four grenades.
The objects tend to roam around the map, and there are more than 4, so you can easily spot them. Start with the Director’s Office, where you’ll usually find two objects jumping around. You can also shoot the items to make them freeze and then catch them with the Pokรฉ Balls.
If you have all 4, head to the secret room, plant them in the system you see in the image above, and interact with it. This will start a lockdown sequence where you need to hold off the zombies and, at the same time, pull down the five red levers once they start beeping. They’re very easy to spot, and the audio cue will guide you.
Once the sequence is done, you can open the portal, and by heading inside, you’ll start the Black Ops 6 Zombies Reckoning Boss Fight easter egg. Make sure you’re packed and have all your weapons, field upgrades, equipment, and GobbleGums at the ready.
Black Ops 6 Zombies The Reckoning Boss Fight
By interacting with the Sentinel Artifact, you’ll have two options. If you choose to support SAM, you’ll be fighting Richtofen, which is the hardest boss fight of all time, worse than Shattered Veil. And by choosing Richtofen, you’ll fight SAM, which is the easier option.
If you fight SAM, all you need to worry about is the laser beam and the zombies jumping around. Kill them for armor, and shoot SAM in her four weak spots on the sphere. The best guns for damaging this boss are AMR Mod 4, Jackal PDW, Tanto, and AK-74. You’ll need a range gun, but the Maelstrom shotgun is also a good option.
If you fight Richtofen, however, it’s more like you’re playing against a human in a match of unfair 1v1 Multiplayer. He has his Wunderwaffe DG-2 that can one-tap you. He drops energy mines. And worst of all, zombies, Klaus robots, and UBER Klaus bots will follow you around! If you beat this boss, you’re a CoD Zombies legend.
The best you can do for both bosses is to have a Death Machine field upgrade at the ready while chewing Stock Options, Shields Up, Idle Eyes, Guards Up, and Phoenix Up gums. Good luck!
