Blake Lively is back in the news as she promotes her new Blake Brown haircare line on Instagram. The actress, 37, has been a talking point for much of the summer thanks to her new It Ends With Us movie, but she hasn’t abandoned plugging her 2024-launched brand.
Disabling comments in her Sunday share as backlash over her movie drama continues, Blake shared studio shots of her messy bed hair while in an open coat, with a humorous caption noting that there was no shirt. Blake, who is already the founder of her Betty Buzz drinks brand, released her haircare brand in August, joining stars including sitcom star Jennifer Aniston and singer Beyonce in retailing haircare products.
Blake Lively Shows Off Haircare Brand In Instagram Post
Looking gorgeous as she teased her bare chest, Blake posed in a soft brown coat sending out fall vibes.
Showing hints of her curves as she ditched the shirt beneath her outerwear, the Gossip Girl star posed seated, keeping casual in jeans while drawing the eye to her signature blonde locks. Opting for highlights, lowlights, and a brushed-around feel, Blake championed the messy hair trend while shooting the lens a direct gaze, also using one hand to pull her coat closed.
Smiling in the second slide, Blake held a bottle of her All-In-Wonder Leave-In Potion before closing her gallery with a shot of her hair from behind.
Promises Gorgeous Hair, But No ‘Shirt’
In an amusing caption, Blake wrote: “Our @blakebrownbeauty All-In-wONEder potion does it all… except provide you a shirt… or a hairbrush… I don’t know what those are.”
The post has now topped 1.2 million likes, also snagging a celebrity like from country singer Jessie James Decker.
Fans may well have spotted that Blake had disabled captions. The mom of four has faced criticism for glamorizing her It Ends With Us movie via endless floral outfits and light-hearted promo when the story itself centers around domestic violence.
That said, there seems to be interest in Blake Brown, where products retail from $19 to $25. In an Instagram post debuting her brand in July, Blake swished her hair around in video mode, revealing that her company took 7 years to form. She added:
“For 36 years and counting. And like any relationship, it’s healthiest when you take good care of each other. To love it well, I’ve found a system that has worked wonders for me, a hack of sorts through decades of working with the very best people in the industry, and silly amounts of trial and error.”
