The drama between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has now gotten to intense levels. At first, it started off as baseless speculations founded on TikTok conspiracy theories. However, with missed press tour appearances and damning media reports, the feud keeps getting real. In the latest update, Baldoni seems to have dealt a major blow, killing Lively’s fame with kindness.
Days after damaging reports about an alleged “abusive” behavior on the set of It Ends With Us, Baldoni reportedly hired a crisis PR firm and that seems to be paying off. According to Variety, the actor’s production company, Wayfarer Studios, is using the drama to do some good by partnering with the No More Foundation. The collaboration will provide resources and information related to the domestic abuse depicted in. The foundation aims to offer survivors of domestic and sexual violence access to help through their No More Global Directory. The directory will connect survivors to support services in the U.S. and 200 other countries.
An end card in the film’s credits provides all the information fans need to access the service. Baldoni confirmed the collaboration with a statement:
We want to ensure that Wayfarer Studios projects, specifically those that address domestic and sexual violence and abuse, are made with purpose and the intention to educate, support and ultimately provide resources for viewers who may see themselves via their current situation on screen.”
Blake Lively Gives ‘Major Ick’ For Response To Domestic Violence
While fans and DV survivors are praising Baldoni’s move, the reverse has been the case for Lively. They recently slammed the Gossip Girl alum for her lackadaisical response to a question about domestic violence. During an appearance on the show Jake’s Takes, Lively was asked how victims of DV who relate to the film could approach her if they need to talk. While laughing, she sarcastically answered:
“Like ask me for like my address, or like my phone number. Or location share? I’m a Virgo, so I’m like am i talking logistics or are we talking emotionally?”
