Blightbound is a title by developer Romino Games. Published by Devolver Digital, the game is a 2D dungeon crawler. Many years ago, a team of adventurers faced off against a creature known as the Shadow Titan. The group of warriors defeated the being, though with great difficulty. What they did not anticipate was the being’s shell releasing a terrible blight.
Revive heroes and collect them to add to your roster of dungeon explorers. In addition to increasing your roster, you can craft unique weapons to aid your quest against the threat in Blightbound. The Gravemark, the Underhold, and the Blood Ridge await anyone brave enough to travel through.
Blightbound Wolfpack Update
Springboarding off the success of the previous update, Blightbound introduced the Wolfpack Update. This update introduces a few new things: a new explorable area, a multitude of new weapons to craft, in addition to new heroes for the roster. A new dungeon awaits in the Underhold: The Creeping Blight. Only those with a will of steel and a strong mind will be able to make it through. Encounter such champions as Shellrot, Coward Osmund, and Havern the Deserter. Byrinth and their unpredictable personality make a return as the master of the new champions.
To combat the threat, make use of the Wolfpack. Adding to the ranks of the Refuge are Wodania and her son Karrogh, the Fearless Wolf. Invigorate your allies with the fearsome Warcry or bring the pain with Lawbringer. In addition to the wolf’s abilities, Wodania the Blind Matriach can bring enemies down to her level with Smokebomb. Or you can go with direct attacks such as Lightning Strikes or Fan of Knives.
