We’re about to end the first month of 2026, and many studios have already laid out their plans for this year. The latest to join the wave of announcements is none other than Blizzard. However, instead of just one minor announcement, we actually got the confirmation of not one, but four showcases for World of Warcraft, Diablo, Overwatch, and Hearthstone. And the good news is that the showcases will kick off this week, so it is safe to say that 2026 is already looking like a promising year for all fans of Blizzard games.

Blizzard Kicks Off Its Showcases of 2026 With World of Warcraft: State of Azeroth

Blizzard is readying up four showcases for the beginning of 2026, starting with World of Warcraft, followed by Overwatch, then Hearthstone, and wrapping it up with Diablo. If you don’t want to miss them, here are the dates and links where you can watch them:

  • World of Warcraft: State of Azeroth (January 29 at 9:00 a.m. PST)
    • YouTube
    • Twitch
  • Overwatch Spotlight (February 4 at 10:00 a.m. PST)
    • YouTube
    • Twitch
  • Hearthstone Spotlight (February 9 at 9:30 a.m. PST)
    • YouTube
    • Twitch
  • Diablo 30th Anniversary Spotlight (February 11 at 2:00 p.m. PST)
    • YouTube
    • Twitch

As you can see, the showcases won’t be far apart. They will start with World of Warcraft‘s State of Azeroty and then have another one almost every week. While all of them are exciting announcements, the truth is that people are extremely excited for WoW and Diablo. For the former, we know Midnight is right around the corner, with the pre-patch already live. So far, the new housing system has been amazing, and people are also enjoying the new Demon Hunter spec.

For Diablo, however, hitting the 30-year milestone is huge, and we know Diablo has been cooking lately. We got the Paladin and one of the best seasons for Diablo 4, with a mind-blowing announcement for the new expansion, so it is safe to believe that this showcase will be one of the biggest.

Still, we’ll have to wait until the abovementioned dates to see what Blizzard has in store for us in 2026, but with last year being so great, we can only imagine this one will top it in many ways.
