Today’s a great day for Diablo fans and gamers in general. After two successful beta tests (without counting the plethora of bugs and disconnects), Blizzard has announced that Diablo 4 has gone gold. This is a massive milestone in game development because it means a game is ready to release. We hope this is the case because the beta showed some areas were rough around the edges. While this isn’t surprising regarding Blizzard games, a lot is riding on its shoulders. The company has fallen from one of the best to a struggling one, so the upcoming Diablo 4 game should put the company back in everyone’s good graces.
Diablo 4 Goes Gold a Few Months Before Releasing
It is always music to everyone’s ears to hear that a game has reached gold status. When it comes to Diablo 4, everyone has high expectations. Some people enjoyed the beta tests praising the flexibility that characterizes the franchise and the new game’s setting. Even if there were some bugs and connecting proved to be a pain for many, gamers are still excited to play this game soon.

Diablo 4 Pre-Launch Patch Notes (First Major Update)
There have been some weird choices in the game’s development cycle, like including a Battle Pass or the Collector’s Edition not having the game, yet, people are still looking forward to playing this title. While the upcoming Diablo 4 game has gone gold already, that doesn’t mean it’ll launch without issues. People fear logging in during launch day or even launch week will be a hassle. This has happened with games like WoW in the past, so we can already expect that. While this shows players love Blizzard games, the company should start working on optimizing its servers to give players an excellent day-one experience. Yet, all that remains is to wait and hope that Diablo 4′s launch will be grand.
