While your Race doesn’t make much of a difference during the early game of Roblox Blox Fruits, you might want to consider changing it as you get into more tough PvE and PvP battles. You’ll likely roll Human when you first start your adventure, but other Races have advantages that’ll become super valuable, depending on your build. Need more damage resistance? Shark makes you more tanky and grants invulnerability to swimming in water. Got a need for speed? Rabbit is your go-to; Angel’s just an all-around upgrade to Human. There are also “secret” Races you can change into Blox Fruits if you fulfill their requirements.

How To Get a Different Race in Blox Fruits

[Updated on April 25 – Revised explanations for how to reroll Races and unlock Ghoul and Cyborg.]

Obviously, the easiest way to change your Race in Roblox Blox Fruits is via the Shop by spending 90 Robux for a reroll. But those free-to-play or who can’t be bothered using their premium currency must pay an NPC called “Tort” a visit. Tort can be found in the large yellow Cafe on the backside of the Second Sea’s Kingdom of Rose, past the large overpass. They’re also located in the Mansion of the Third Sea.

Tort doesn’t offer their services for free, of course. You’ll need to shell out 3,000 Fragments, a currency you’ll primarily get from Raiding in the Second and Third Seas. Once you have this amount, they’ll reroll and change your Race for Blox Fruits. Unfortunately, it’s all randomized, so there’s no way to directly choose Rabbit, Shark, Angel, or Human.

On the other hand, the two “secret” Races of Blox Fruits are not random and are guaranteed rewards if you fulfill their quest-esque requirements. The first is Ghoul, a Race great for boosting your survivability, especially in PvP situations. You can unlock Ghoul by meeting up with Experimic on the Cursed Ship of the Second Sea. You can learn more about unlocking Ghoul here.

Next, there’s Cyborg, which, besides its useful perks, is just a cool aesthetic for cyberpunk and sci-fi lovers. You can change into this Race in Blox Fruits by completing a complex questline that involves solving an intricate puzzle; read more about the Cyborg Race here.
