Queen Beyonce’s stadium tour for her most recent album, Cowboy Carter, is officially underway, and one of her backup dancers is none other than her own daughter, Blue Ivy. The eldest Carter has been onstage before, but this time around, she’s really showing fans what she’s learned between then and now. In fact, some concert-goers would argue that Blue is the real start of the show, performing moves that Beyonce’s knees only wish they could.
Due to her hard work, the internet has come together to create a collective joke claiming that Blue Ivy is Beyonce’s real tour manager. Considering how much she’s improved and added to the tour, I’d wager that she actually is. What’s funny about the joke is that Blue might actually be aware of it; at least, according to a video taken at the latest California show.
In the video posted by a fan, Blue Ivy can be seen pointing at the camera and giving a thumbs-up. In the corner of the screen, you can see exactly what she was referring to: a sign that said, ‘We love u manager Blue.’ Amidst the sea of fans dancing and singing along to one of the greatest performers of this century, only one sign managed to catch her eye, and it seems that she agrees with it!

It’s clear that Blue has spent a lot of time practicing and ensuring that everything goes as perfectly as possible every night she is on stage. You can tell that her performance isn’t about making sure she doesn’t embarrass her mother so much as it is to prove that she’s a talented dancer. Honestly, according to every video I’ve seen on TikTok the morning after a performance, I can’t help but acknowledge that she really does have what it takes to be on stage.
Behind the scenes of the tour, things aren’t looking too happy, with fans reporting empty seats and fights breaking out in venues. Worse of all, it seems like a lot of people are also boycotting the singer due to her connections with rapper Sean Diddy Combs. The two entertainers spent many years collaborating, however, it’s her husband, rapper Jay-Z, who seems to have a much deeper and personal connection to the reason for Diddy’s September 2024 arrest. Hopefully, whatever comes of it won’t do any social harm to Blue Ivy’s future.
