Bojack Horseman season five is officially coming to Netflix September 14th, 2018.

This news was actually revealed by “Bojack Horseman” himself. Via his official Twitter account, Bojack responded to a fan demanding an answer on when the series would be returning:

wooowwww congratulations you are the 10000000 person to ask that question your prize is the answer sept 14th now please stop asking me https://t.co/YlMPphjRdq

— BoJack Horseman (@BoJackHorseman) June 27, 2018

Which led to this hilarious conversation with Netflix U.S’ official Twitter account:

bojack…we talked about this

— Netflix (@netflix) June 27, 2018

i remember a 87% coherent conversation where you told me to do this right now

We gave the fourth season of Bojack Horseman a perfect score (deservingly so). If you want to see our full review, click here.

Bojack Horseman’s fourth season ended with a surprisingly upbeat final scene compared to previous seasons, with Hollyhock accepting Bojack as her brother and our favorite alcoholic horse finally getting a bit of happiness in his life. Whether or not this will be a turning point for Bojack as a character is yet to be seen but due to the nature of this show, we are guaranteed to have some tear-jerking moments in season five.

Although characters like Bojack and Todd had somewhat “happy” endings last season (which still comes as a shock to me), the same can’t be said for Mr. Peanutbutter and Diane. The two are seemingly headed towards a bitter divorce. It will be interesting to see where Princess Caroline’s story goes from here as well, with her inability to have children being one of the saddest moments of the last season.

Great social commentary on Hollywood and the world, in general, has always been one of the strongest traits for the series over the past four years. Where the show takes us next in that aspect will be compelling to watch.

What did you think about Bojack Horseman season four? What are you hoping to see for season five? Let us know in the comments and be sure to follow us here at The Nerd Stash for all of your nerdy news and needs!
