I absolutely love it when a person contradicts themselves in an embarrassing way. You tend to see these kinds of responses during political or women’s rights events whenever the attendees are asked simple questions. In fact, one Boomer woman at a pro-life rally was asked a very simple question that she definitely knew the answer to, but didn’t want to admit it. It’s good that the interview was recorded and uploaded to Reddit for everyone to see.
The video is short and sweet. It depicts an interview between a man and a Boomer woman holding a pro-life sign. The interviewer reads her sign and asks the woman if the quote written on it is from the Bible, to which she confirms, reciting the specific verse and explaining what it means. She explains that God has a plan for every child, even before they are in the womb.
In response to that, the interviewer asks if this was the same God that also killed the first-born sons in Egypt. Because that specific story is actually told in the bible, the woman decides to end the interview instead of speaking on it. What makes the video hilarious is the woman’s face when she realizes she can’t retaliate.
“I think I’m done…”
I’m sorry, but I literally laughed out loud.”
The post was very quickly upvoted a few thousand times on Reddit, with tons of comments criticizing the woman’s choices and actions. Other comments also recite particular sections of the bible that directly contradict the quote she had written on her sign.
“They usually don’t recognize how stupid they sound so quickly.”
Hopefully, the woman has used her time after the video to reflect on how stupid she sounded in it. The Bible has many verses that can be construed differently depending on the context, and those who have actually read it would know that.
