Epic Games has constantly been raising the stakes when it comes to their free game offerings. Yet, while the games might not always be outstanding, sometimes Epic Games can deliver. While we’ve seen this achieved in their various purchases, some are more successful than others. Most obviously with their buy-out of Psyonix, taking the creators of Rocket League to their free platform. Despite this, criticism of them has never waned as they continue to push out weekly free games to entice more and more players. Yet, with the start of their summer sale, Epic is starting to offer more intriguing games through their weekly service. Starting this week to kick off the sales, Borderlands 3 is now free on the Epic Games Store for the rest of the week.

🚨 THE VAULT HAS OPENED 🚨

Let's kick the Epic MEGA Sale off with some mayhem! @Borderlands 3 is free (yes, FREE, $0) this week on the Epic Games Store. Grab it from the Vault now and become the Vault Hunter of your dreams. https://t.co/wdzCiPEpO5 pic.twitter.com/MprM9XN4qh

For How Long Will Borderlands 3 Be Free To Claim?

Free from now until the end of the week, users of the Epic Games Store can claim Borderlands 3. While the title has been out for some time now, the version listed for free is only the base version. Since launch, the title has received plenty of support with new DLC and add-ons. Released back in 2019, the game has changed and evolved with the passing additions made. The DLC is also on sale during Epic Games Store’s summer sale period, which lasts until June 16th. While Gearbox’s newest title just released, Tiny Tina’s Wonderland is selling quite well for itself. Also on sale during the event for 20% off, Epic Games Store is representing Gearbox quite well to open their monthly sale. While there’s sure to be more to come in the future, be sure to check back for more on the latest free games on the Epic Games Store.
