Boston Woman Questions ‘The Tour You Can’t Refuse’ Mobster Lobster Bus: ‘I Want to Go So Bad’

Maybe I’ll book a tour

Considering all the bad going on in the world, there are times when it’s necessary to really find the food in the world. Whoops, did I say food? I meant to say good. A Boston, Massachusetts, woman was driving along the highway when she noticed a rather unusual vehicle riding alongside her: a Mobsters and Lobsters tour truck. Of course, at first glance, what could that really mean? So, she took to TikTok to ask, and the responses have been absolutely hilarious.

The TikTok video was posted by @wolfgangg92, and shows exactly what the title suggests: a tour bus featuring lobsters and mobsters. More specifically, the slogan for the tour is, “The Tour You Can’t Refuse.” Naturally, the creator was curious about what the tour was for, so she took the video to the most popular social platform out there.

Immediately, her comments were flooded with people who knew exactly what she had just witnessed. One person said, “Okay so it’s for private hire only (sad I know) but it’s all about Boston’s mob history and then you eat lobster. I want to go so bad.” Now that I know what it’s all about, I kind of want to book a tour myself.

After some quick research, they were right. Servicing corporate events, party trolleys, and more, the event is marketed as the ultimate Boston experience where, you guessed it, you get to eat lobster while touring some of the hottest mob locations in town. The all-inclusive tour requires a 20-person minimum, and prices aren’t posted online, so I can only assume it’s expensive.

Other comments were more focused on how hilarious the concept of having a tour built around mobsters and lobsters is. One person really stole exactly what I was thinking when they responded with, “extremely Bob’s Burgers coded.” I’ll admit that I thought maybe the video was AI when it first popped up on my page.

Other comments tried imagining what a tour probably looks like, with my personal favorite one saying, “In my head canon, they serve lobster while you tour famous hits and hideouts around town. “This lobster roll is gonna hit but not like the hit on Danny the Shoe who was assassinated in front of the deli on our left.” I don’t see how a tour like this can go any other way. If not, then maybe they should think about stealing the idea. I’d definitely go.
