Brad Pitt’s bitter family feud with ex-wife Angelina Jolie and their six children continues to rage on. The actor is said to be struggling with the fact that his children have pulled away from him, and things have gotten so bad that none of the six children will be seeing him on Father’s Day. Instead, sources claim that the Jolie-Pitt children will spend the holiday with her mother, whom they’ve reportedly been leaning heavily on throughout their parents’ divorce.
Pitt and Jolie share six children together, adopted kids Maddox, Pax, and Zahara, and biological children Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox. However, not a single one will acknowledge their dad on Father’s Day, per In Touch Weekly. Instead, they’ll be with Jolie, whom they reportedly consider their primary parent and caregiver.
Brad Pitt Won’t See His Children on Father’s Day
Things have gotten so bad with Brad Pitt and his children that many of the kids have dropped his last name. Instead, they’re opting to use their mother Angelina Jolie’s name instead, getting rid of the Pitt name altogether.
“The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad,” an insider says.
Meanwhile, the Seven actor is said to be heartbroken over how things have played out with his kids. In addition, he reportedly blames his ex for his rocky relationship with his children.
“He feels Angie has slowly but surely turned their children against him,” an insider tells Life and Style. “Brad believes she absolutely influenced their decisions to distance themselves from him. They no longer want to spend time with him, and Brad knows that Angie is sitting back and enjoying every minute of it. The situation’s just sad.”
However, Brad Pitt is allegedly thinking about expanding his family and getting another chance at parenthood. Sources claim that the actor wants to have a baby with his current girlfriend, Ines de Ramon. However, she wants a commitment from him first.
“There’s a bit of urgency with this. Brad is very eager to have a child with Ines and she wants a proper commitment first. As soon as they tie the knot, the first priority will be having a baby,” the informant dished.
It remains to be seen if Brad Pitt can mend his relationship with his children and end his feud with Angelina Jolie. However, for now, it seems that the kids have made their decision on the matter.
