Brad Pitt is dealing with a few issues with his new film, F1. Despite the problems and unexpected delays that have cost considerable money, he is determined and desperate to make this film successful.
The actor’s past couple of films have not been as successful as he had hoped they would be. This is one of the reasons he needs to ensure that F1 pulls in fans to the box office. At 60, Brad admits his career is in a different place these days. He is trying to work less but has yet to be ready to retire and disappear from the industry.
Sources tell In Touch they hope to ensure the film and the soundtrack are a hit. Brad Pitt has sent 911 calls to his friends and some of the top female singing artists to lend a helping hand.
“Brad and the F1 team are not being shy about hunting for a pop song to accompany the release of F1,” claims the Pitt informant. He is on the hunt for a leading lady to perform the soundtrack.
He has his eye on Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, and Lana Del Rey, hoping to secure one of his favorite friends and female entertainers for the soundtrack.
It has been one disappointing obstacle for Brad and the film crew after the next. The movie is scheduled for release in June 2025. However, this date has already been pushed back an entire year.
The director, Joseph Kosinski, and the cast are losing momentum. They need moviegoers to get excited about the project. However, all fans have seen so far is a short teaser clip.
Brad Pitt Needs A Film Win
Brad Pitt needs a win with this film so much that he is working hard to make it happen.
“He has taken the lead on this process because he sees himself as a pretty serious music aficionado, and more importantly, he can personally call the most famous pop singers on earth, and they will pick up the phone,” the insider continues.
The actor is calling in favors from his friends. Brad’s friendship with Lady Gaga goes back years. But she has had a lot on her plate lately. She already helped out on the soundtrack for Maverick, and her most recent Joker sequel film did not perform well at the box office.
So, as much as Brad would love to have her on the project, he feels she is due for a break. He has now narrowed it down to Billie Eilish, Dupa Lipa, Lana Del Rey, and Katy Perry. They are all high on his wish list, But because the stakes are so high for him in this film, he doesn’t have much room for error. So, he is being selective and hopes he makes the right choice.
After the humiliation over the failure with Wolfs, Brad Pitt is proceeding cautiously. “This is an expensive movie that Apple has paid for. The film is going to as many theaters as possible. Brad needs his female audience to show up in droves, and to do that, he needs all the help he can get.“
Right now, Brad Pitt seems to be in a do-or-die situation. It will be interesting to see if he can pull off a win this time.
