According to the insiders, the infection kept Jamie in the hospital for weeks, during which he went under the knife five times. Unfortunately, all five surgeries were unsuccessful, leaving Jamie with no other option than to have his leg amputated. Jamie is said to be in bad shape as he has lost over 25 pounds due to his health woes.
